I recently upgraded my kitchen and bathroom cabinets with the Amerock Merced 1-1/4 inch (32mm) Diameter Matte Black Cabinet Knob, BP37420MB, and I want to give you my honest take on this hardware. As a Marine veteran who values quality and durability, I’ve learned to scrutinize products before dropping money on them. The Amerock Merced 1-1/4 inch (32mm) Diameter Matte Black Cabinet Knob, BP37420MB is a cabinet knob that impressed me enough to write about it, and at $177.66 for what I ordered, there were some expectations to meet.
Why the Amerock Merced 1-1/4 inch (32mm) Diameter Matte Black Cabinet Knob, BP37420MB Stands Out
The first thing that struck me about this knob is the finish. Matte black hardware can look either cheap or sophisticated depending on execution, and Amerock nailed it here. The matte coating is consistent across every knob I installed, with no streaks or uneven spots. The diameter at 32mm gives you a substantial feel without being oversized or awkward to grip. I installed these on both raised panel and flat cabinet doors, and they work equally well on both styles.
