I recently picked up the Cable Matters 10Gbps Snagless Short Cat 6 Ethernet Cable 2 ft (Cat 6 Cable, Cat6 Cable, Internet Cable, Network Cable) in Black for my home office setup in Houston, and I wanted to share my honest take on this ethernet cable category product. At $6.45, I expected basic functionality. What I got was solid build quality that reminded me of the attention to detail I learned to appreciate during my Marine service. Cable Matters delivers a no-nonsense product that does exactly what it promises without the marketing fluff.
