# First-Person Amazon Product Review: Monoprice 6ft 16AWG Power Extension Cord Cable
I picked up the Monoprice 6ft 16AWG Power Extension Cord Cable – SJT 16/3C NEMA 5-15P TO NEMA 5-15R (13A/125V) AP301+SP506 – Black power extension cord for $9.39, and I wanted to share what I’ve learned after putting it to actual use in my Houston operations. As a Marine veteran running multiple businesses, I don’t have patience for cheap equipment that fails under real-world conditions. This Monoprice extension cord has been exactly what I needed for my workshop and jobsite setups where I require reliable power delivery without breaking the bank.
