I picked up the St Action Pro 12GA Gauge Shotgun Safety Trainer Cartridge Dummy Shell Rounds with Brass Case, Orange, 10 Pack from Ultimate Arms Gear as a training tool, and after putting them through their paces, I can give you the straight assessment. These dummy shells fall into the firearm training category and cost me $13.94, which is reasonable for what you get. Having spent years in the Marine Corps working with shotguns in various conditions, I know the difference between quality training equipment and cheap knockoffs. These are legitimately useful.
The St Action Pro 12GA Gauge Shotgun Safety Trainer Cartridge Dummy Shell Rounds with Brass Case, Orange, 10 Pack arrives in a compact package with ten rounds that are immediately identifiable thanks to their bright orange coloring. That’s not a small detail. In a training environment or when you’re mixing them with live ammunition, you need zero ambiguity about what you’re holding. The orange finish makes it impossible to accidentally load a dummy when you should be loading live rounds, and vice versa. That’s the kind of safety-first design that prevents stupid mistakes.
Why the St Action Pro 12GA Gauge Shotgun Safety Trainer Cartridge Dummy Shell Rounds with Brass Case, Orange, 10 Pack Stands Out
The brass casing is solid. These aren’t flimsy plastic shells that’ll fall apart after a handful of cycles. I’ve run these through my Mossberg and my older Remington 870, and the chambers accept them smoothly without any resistance or binding. The dummy rounds function exactly like real ammunition in terms of feeding and ejection, which is precisely what you want when you’re practicing your manual of arms or running through tactical drills.
I’ve incorporated the St Action Pro 12GA Gauge Shotgun Safety Trainer Cartridge Dummy Shell Rounds with Brass Case, Orange, 10 Pack into my regular training rotation, and they’ve held up remarkably well. After repeated cycling through various shotgun actions, there’s no visible wear, no dents that would prevent proper feeding, and no deterioration of the orange paint. I’ve added them to my recommended products for anyone serious about shotgun training without burning through expensive ammunition.
Would I Buy the St Action Pro 12GA Gauge Shotgun Safety Trainer Cartridge Dummy Shell Rounds with Brass Case, Orange, 10 Pack Again
Yes, absolutely. Running dry fire drills is important, but cycling dummy rounds through your shotgun gives you actual feedback on your mechanics. You get the weight, the recoil impulse simulation, and the full motion of the action. With the St Action Pro 12GA Gauge Shotgun Safety Trainer Cartridge Dummy Shell Rounds with Brass Case, Orange, 10 Pack, you get that repetition without spending a fortune on ammunition. As an entrepreneur juggling multiple business responsibilities alongside personal training, efficiency matters to me. These shells let me train effectively in the time I have available.
The ten pack might seem limited, but the durability of these rounds means you’re not constantly replacing them. I’ve been using the same set for weeks now with no degradation in performance. For someone building a training program or a range facility, buying multiple packs makes financial sense.
I’m buying more of these. The St Action Pro 12GA Gauge Shotgun Safety Trainer Cartridge Dummy Shell Rounds with Brass Case, Orange, 10 Pack from Ultimate Arms Gear delivers exactly what it promises without pretense or unnecessary marketing nonsense. Get them if you’re serious about shotgun competency.
